3.Qualification:

 i. The basic qualification is B.E. or B. Tech or B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. 

ii. A relaxation of 5% in marks may be provided at the Graduate and Master’s level for the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility. The 5% relaxation will not include any grace. [For qualification details please refer to O.M. 4. Scale of Pay:

 Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500 plus other allowances as admissible under Rules. 

5. Age:

 The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01-01- 2022. The upper age limit is relaxable upto:

 (i) 5 (five) years for SC/STP/STH candidates i.e. upto 43 years.

 (ii) 3 (three) years for OBC/ MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years and 

(iii) 10 (ten) years for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates i.e. upto 48 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category candidates. 

6. How to Apply:

 i. Candidates shall apply through the on-line process of application provided in the website of the ASERB, http://recruitment.aesrb.in. No other means/ mode of application shall be accepted by the Board. 

ii. Intending applicants may visit the website of the Board to fill up the on-line form and upload scanned copies of requisite documents, certificates, latest passport size photo etc. 

iii. Applicants shall also pay application fees of Rs.250.00 (For General candidates) and Rs.150.00 (For SC/ST/OBC candidates) through the payment gateway provided in the on-line portal of application as per Govt. Notification No.FEG.32/2016/12 dated 21st May, 2018. 

iv. After the application is ‘submitted’ in the on-line system, the applicant shall take out a printout. Short listed candidates shall have to bring this printout along with other original documents at the time of interview. 

v. Only duly submitted on-line applications accompanied by uploading of requisite particulars as prescribed in the Board’s website shall be considered. Short listed candidates shall be called for a personal interview as decided by the Board. 

vi. In case of detection of any false declaration/ statement made by any applicant, his/her application will be rejected and will also be penalized as per Rules/Law. 

vii. The last date of submission of application in the on-line portal of the AESRB website is 25-06-2022 up to 5:00 pm. 

7. General terms and conditions:

 i. Applicants already employed must apply through their respective employer and scanned copy of ‘No Objection Certificate’ to be uploaded during online form fill up. 

ii. Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.

 iii. The Board reserves the right to cancel, alter or modify the advertisement or other terms and conditions of the advertisement without any prior notice. 

iv. Any change or amendment to this Advertisement will be posted on the above-mentioned website only. 

v. All other matters which are not specially provided in this advertisement shall be decided by the Board. 

8. Process of recruitment:

iii. Extra-curricular activities iv. Interaction with Selection Committee (Interview). 

Note:

 1. The list of candidates whose applications are found either valid or rejected after scrutiny will be made available in the website of Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (https://aesrb.in) showing grounds of rejection in case of rejected applications in due course of time.
